Caleb Takes Control of the Toothbrush
As you can see, Caleb enjoys brushing his teeth....FINALLY! It wasn't until last week that he was happy to open his mouth wide and let me in w/ the toothbrush. Now after I finish, he takes control of the toothbrush and gets those places I missed. :)
We had a nice weekend...the weather was perfect, so Caleb spent some time outside w/ the neighbor boys (Anthony - 3 yrs and his brother Issac - 22 months). He also played w/ Oblon's twin girls again on Saturday night and had a good time there. We brought his pack and play so we could put him down at his NEW (and improved) bedtime of 7:30 and then we enjoyed a nice quiet dinner w/ Paul & Kristen while the kids were sleeping - very nice.
We checked out a new church this morning. Caleb wasn't a fan, but I think he's at the age now where church just won't be fun....even w/ cheerios, books and trucks to entertain. They have a big (and heavily used) cryroom ...we'll probably give that a try. They also have babysitters/playroom there, but I'm not ready for that yet... I might change my mind if the next few Sundays are like today though.
Caleb also had fun at the park today and enjoyed a good dinner out....he ate everything...chicken, mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, garlic bread and a few bites of my bbq-pork. In addition to enjoying all the food, he had fun coloring and flirting w/ the waitresses. He was a big show-off tonight....wonder where he gets that from (Caleb is pointing to dad).

Yay for Caleb with brushing his teeth and new (earlier) bedtime! We started putting Alex in the church nursery about a month ago and it is really better (for me and Chris) and Alex loves playing with his new church friends.
