Good Brothers
Caleb & Sam are such funny little brothers. They have their share of fights (which is usually about Sam "destroying" something that Caleb is playing with), but lately they are doing such cute things together.
Today, we went to the park (where I took this picture). When Caleb wasn't playing in the "big kids" play area, he was in the toddler area and was playing so nicely with Sam. He was being a very good older brother....holding his hand, giving him lots of encouragement ("you can do it Sam", "great job Sam"), and really trying to help him out. In this pic, he is helping Sammy on the tornado slide. And even though Sam doesn't need the help, he loves the attention his brother is giving him. If I was up on the slide w/ him, he's push my hand away and yell "self! self!" (to let me know he can do it by himself)...but if Caleb is helping, that is perfectly fine.
Recently, Sammy has been asking for Caleb's hand when he walks down the few steps from our back door into the garage. If Caleb walks out the door w/o him, Sam reminds him he needs his help by yelling "Caba, hand!" Caleb has so far been very patient and helped him out every time, without complaining.
Caleb also wants Sam to sit in his lap now....not ALL the time, but he has his moments when he'd like to hold his little brother for a few minutes - ha. I have also discovered that he can pick Sammy up now, which is alittle frightening. Sam thinks it's fun.
Considering that they do just about everything together, they get along really well. It's fun to watch them and listen to their funny conversations. My favorite is when they make each other laugh....or walk through the house/yard holding hands.
