Our Weekend
After a fairly rough week with the kids at home we had a much deserved nice weekend with a visit from my parents! As mentioned before, they were in the city on Friday to see Jersey Boys...before dinner, they stopped into McKinsey to enjoy a drink with Justin!
They arrived at our place for lunch on Saturday - - the boys were excited about seeing Grandma & Grandpa again. It was actually perfect timing (from our end anyway) for them to come...we were having ceiling lights put in in our living room and our downstairs was a mess so the boys really weren't able to run around as usual...after being couped up in this house for a week and NOW not even able to use the main floor they really needed the distraction of having their grandparent here! They enjoyed playing trains, cars and geotrax with them...and just hanging out and talking...and talking...and talking. :) Since my living room was basically moved into my kitchen for the day, we decided to get Famous Daves for dinner - yum.
Sunday the boys played and danced.....grandpa showed the boys new dance moves while Izzy danced with grandma until she fell asleep. Grandma & Grandpa left after lunch and the boys both took good naps.
We are all feeling pretty good this week so we are back into our normal routine. We are all looking forward to tomorrow...Caleb has preschool, Sam has gym class and Izzy has napping to do in her carseat (she naps SO well in her carseat)...and I just need to get out of this house!! :)
