A Weekend in Wisconsin
We headed back to Wisconsin this past weekend....we arrived mid afternoon on Friday and headed back late Sunday night.
Unfortunately my dad was in Chicago for the wknd (work) so we didn't see him much, but we still needed to make the trip in order to look for a place to live! The boys were happy to have grandma in charge for the wknd while Justin and I looked at homes. Amy was oftentimes over with one of her boys, which makes watching the boys significantly easier, but I'm sure grandma was wiped out by Sunday night. Justin and I were gone ALOT!!
Although grandpa was gone, the boys still managed to feed the birds. Grandpa actually put them in charge of this while he was gone....and of course, Caleb thought this was very cool to have this important responsibility. He thought this was SO important that he asked grandpa to draw him a map of which bird seed to put in each feeder. I think this is when my dad regretted asking them take care of his birds while he was gone. hahaha.
The boys spent lots of time outside there...they are always happy to be hanging out in their yard. Caleb is always doing some project with pine cones, rocks, sticks or is just playing with Millie. Sam is usually riding his tricycle or following grandma around. We all were able to watch Calian play soccer too, which the boys had been asking to do for awhile now.
And on Sunday night while Amy's family was over for dinner, Isabella discovered a new way to get attention. In order to be heard...between Dave, Justin, Caleb & Sam...Izzy decided that the only way to be heard was to let out a very loud scream...and after she received the attention she would smile REALLY big and move around, as if she was trying to do a 'victory' dance. I seriously think there is absolutely NO chance of me ever getting a word in at our dinner table anymore.
