A New Winter Activity

During our first big snowfall this winter, a big tree in our backyard (right by our patio) fell over. Fortunately, it fell the right direction - -missed crashing through the sliding glass door in the master bedroom...or living room! Anyway, Justin has been annoyed that he has not been able to cut it up/remove it, but the boys could not be happier. They have been playing on this tree all winter. They jump from it onto a pile of snow, they use it as a balance beam, they lay down on it, they just climb all over it....and the other day, Caleb got out his magnifying glass and really inspected it. hahaha. Who needs a big outdoor playset when you have trees laying in your backyard to play on!!?? By the way, if you look at the pics, you will notice I didn't take any of Sam. He was outside as well, but he was busy shoveling/working and asked that I not take his picture today. (sigh)
