A Soccer & Scooter Weekend
We had a really nice weekend....we spent time w/ family, the weather was beautiful and we all got some fresh air...and food on the grill!
Brayden & Calian were in (and won) a 3-on-3 soccer tournament a few minutes from our house....so on Saturday & Sunday we went back and forth from their games to our place. The boys were either watching soccer, playing soccer or riding scooters/bikes. We also spent Saturday morning at SaturPlay (the cool, huge play area)...this time Justin & Izzy joined us. Yeah!
It's so funny to watch Caleb & Sam at the soccer games....SO different. Caleb watches with a smile on his face and he comments/cheers alot. He really enjoys being a fan. He also likes playing w/ other kids at the games (Jill's boy). Sam watches silently/seriously, and he really studies what the players are doing. He really enjoys learning the game. He also enjoys climbing all over the bleachers and sitting at the top. Izzy was happy there was a concession stand....food & family (lots of attention/laps to sit on) - what could be better?
The weather today was so refreshing....mid to high 50's. The boys are so eager to play in the yard, but unfortunately it will take awhile for all the snow to melt. It's frustrating b/c I see yards in town that have NO snow and we still have plenty. Anyway, it didn't stop the boys from getting out EVERY toy today - even the lawn mower & weed wacker. Ha.
