A Happy Easter Weekend!

It has been a very busy, but super fun long holiday weekend. We packed in a few birthday parties, egg hunts and lots of good food. Here is what made it so great:
1) nice weather....tree climbing at grandma's house (see pics), playing ball, riding bikes...etc.
2) easter dinner at grandma's...it doesn't get much better than that.
3) caleb's birthday party today - - kids from his class were absolutely great.
4) kids slept in. aaaaah.
5) watching izzy "sneak" candy. i don't know why i think it's funny, but i do.
6) being around family saturday & sunday. it's so hugely helpful for me and the kids have a blast. unfortunately, izzy is now seriously flirting with calian. She actually tells him that "he's cute". sigh.
7) having justin home 4 days in a row....alleluiah.
8) i can eat candy/chocolate again!! (i gave them up for lent).
9) did i mention my mom's cherry pie?
10) watching the kids so carefully make letters/pictures for the easter bunny. izzy would ask me how to spell words and after i'd tell her she'd say 'okay' and then quickly make scribble on her letter. so cute.
