A Perfect Weekend

What a great weekend...and it all started on Thursday evening, when Chris (Justin's brother), Jen, Alex & Zach arrived! The beginning of a great weekend...here is what made it even better:
- - Kohler Food & Wine Show...unbelievable. Jen & I went to the wine & chocolate tasting, which was out of control wonderful. We happily enjoyed 10...yes, I said 10 chocolates from the Craverie. oh yeah..and 5 nice pours of port. We were in heaven. Justin & Chris went to a beer tasting where they also enjoyed a sample of local game sausages. They loved it as well. And on Saturday night, we all went to the Grand Tasting...lots of great wine. Afterwards, we went to the Craverie for...more chocolate and a wonderful cup of coffee before we enjoyed a nice Italian dinner! Great evening!
- - Perfect weather. The kids had a great time together and got along great...but the weather made it sooo much better for them. They had a great time riding bikes/scooters together, playing on the swing set and running around the yard playing Star Wars. Jen & I also took them on a nature walk at Maywood while Chris & Justin were at their beer tasting. Perfect fall weather. Oh yeah..the boys all got an extra day off school on Friday so they could hang out together all day. FUN!!
- - Justin's Birthday (Sunday)!! Although Chris & Jen had to head back on Sunday morning, we still had family around to celebrate with. My parents, Amy's family & Casey came over to watch football and eat a yummy meal my mom made (Justin's favorite dinner AND dessert...um, spoiled). A perfect way to end a really great weekend!!
