Snow at Last
It has been very disappointing to my boys that most of our snow melted...no snowboarding, no sledding, no shoveling, no "snow plowing". Fortunately we had a really nice snow yesterday...and all the kids enjoyed time in the snow. Caleb made it back to the hill for sledding, Sam helped me shovel and Izzy just walked around exploring - - she wanted to hang out with Caleb, but the walk to the hill was just too far...and deep.
Sam has actually had a great week so far...we have been taking care of Flinn for basically the past two days...breakfast & lunches and plenty of play time at our place and at school. Today was the perfect combination...school with Flinn, playing outside in the snow with Flinn, followed by hockey w/ Caleb & Flinn. Could there be a better day!?!
Isabella has tried very hard to keep up w/ Sam & Flinn this week... but my favorite "moment" of hers with Flinn was when we were all at the Sports Core and she introduced Flinn to the rest of the kids and babysitters. She proudly announced "Dis is Flinn" and then walked over to each person and would say their name so Flinn would know everyone. It was hilarious and it soooo reminded me of Caleb - - I remember him politely making introductions at such a young young age. So adorable.
It looks like more snow is on it's way (kids will be thrilled) and fortunately for me, Justin is on his way back home tomorrow. It's only Wednesday, but I am exhausted.
