Caleb & His Camcorder
So Caleb has a camcorder, and although he enjoys taking pictures with it, he LOVES "filming" things. Sometimes he just walks around and shows/explains things around the house and other times, he captures cool things ...like deer in the yard. Well, this weekend he recorded the "right" things. The Oblons (friends from Naperville, IL) came for an overnight visit on Saturday. Alex & Skylar are 5 years old and Chase is 4 - - and my boys have always had a great time playing with them. They get along great...and because they usually get along great and dont' get into much trouble together we just let them run wild through the house. Well, Caleb had his camcorder following everyone around some of the time and he & Skylar later asked to watch some of the "videos" of them on my computer. I set it up for them and started walking away but stopped when I realized that he was filming them all jumping on our bed!! They were so BUSTED!! They realized they were caught but still wanted to be filmed - ha! The funniest part about the videos of them jumping on the bed is that Caleb yells "CUT!!" like he's a Hollywood director (and I have no idea where he is getting that from). So funny. Caleb took this picture of Alex & Skylar as they were leaving late this morning. I'm glad he took it b/c I never even picked up my camera. Very nice weekend with the Oblons.
In addition to having friends over, Caleb & Sam watched a few soccer games this weekend. On Saturday, Amy picked up the boys and took them to Calian & Brayden's indoor soccer game. I ran errands and Justin kept an eye on Izzy....it was a nice break for us and the boys thought it was very cool to go to a game without us. We all went to watch a few more games this afternoon. THIS is when Caleb needs to bring his camcorder!
The rest of the day was pretty lazy....puzzles, games & a movie....and it's all on video, thanks to Caleb.
